Adoption Process

1) Fill out puppy application

2) Application approval

3) Place deposit & complete Bill of Sale agreement

  • By placing a deposit and completing the Bill of Sale, you will lock in your pick position. The
order of puppy picks is based on when your deposit is received. First deposit gets first pick,
second deposit gets second pick, and so on.
  • The deposit is usually $500. Deposits are non-refundable, however, you do have the option, at Breeder’s discretion, of transferring your deposit to a future litter.
  • Our preference for deposits is Zelle or CashApp. However, you may also place your deposit using cash.
  • Once your deposit is received, we’ll send you the Bill of Sale for you to sign and return along with our Care and Feeding Guide via email. The Bill of Sale serves as a written receipt for your deposit and also as confirmation of your pick position.

4) Follow the birth and development of the puppies on social media!

5) Pick out your puppy!

  • We’ll schedule a pick appointment for you to come and meet the pups in person and pick
out your very own fur baby when the pups are approximately 5 weeks old. At this age, their
eyes are open, they're walking and playing, and they’re beginning to show some of that famous Golden Retriever personality!
  • This is typically a 30 – 45 minute appointment. Many puppy parents already have a pick in
mind from following the pups on Facebook! Keep in mind that, if others are picking ahead of
you, it’s a good idea to have a 2nd or 3rd choice in mind in case your first choice has already
    been reserved.
  • At 5 weeks, the pups will have received their first Parvo shot and will have developed some
immunity. However, they can still be vulnerable, so we follow strict hygiene and disease
prevention protocols. When you arrive, you will be asked to leave your shoes at the door
and to sanitize your hands prior to meeting the pups.
  • When you come to select your puppy, we request that you limit your group to no more than
3-4 people. Larger groups of people can be stressful for momma’s and can overwhelm the
pups. Please let us know in advance if you would like to bring more than 4 to your pick appointment.

6) Pick up your puppy!

  • When the puppies are 8 weeks old, they’re ready to go home! Normally, they will go see our
veterinarian prior to pick up for a complete health exam and a fecal test to make sure
they are parasite free. They will also receive their first round of vaccines.
  • Pick up appointments usually start at 11:00am and we generally schedule pickups all day that day. We will always do our best to accommodate your schedule.
  • Any balance still due must be paid in cash when you come to pick up your pup. Also, we can now accept Zelle or CashApp for final payment. **Note** If you plan to use Zelle or CashApp to pay the remaining balance for your puppy, you must make payment at least 7 days prior to pickup.
  • We require that you bring a crate or some other restraint device to hold your puppy in place
for the drive home. Yes, the lap of your significant other can serve as a restraint device!
